A two-bedroomed, renovated apartment (double / twin) sleeps four people in the charming traditional hilltop village of Castellar.
Set amidst olive groves and citrus trees in the south eastern corner of France, the village is ideally situated between the Mediterranean and the Alps. It is only 6 kms (4 miles) to the beaches at Menton.
Being so close to the FRENCH / ITALIAN border you have the perfect opportunity to enjoy all that both countries have to offer in this exceptionally beautiful area. Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice, Vintimiglia, Bordighera and San Remo are just a few of the resorts within easy reach.

The magnificent hinterland, which encompasses the Mercantour National Park, famous for its lakes, rugged peaks and wildlife, are a one hour’s drive from Castellar. ( Link to Mercantour National Park )
It is a haven of peace and tranquility with spectacular views and is a great escape from the hectic pace of the tourist locations.

French windows open on to a balcony overlooking the village square with the impressive panorama of the mountains beyond. There are superb views down to the coastal town of Menton from the bedrooms.

Please note that for safety reasons the apartment is not suitable for children under 12 years of age nor for people with restricted mobility. Pets are not permitted in the apartment. Also, the apartment is strictly non-smoking.
