Located just 4 miles/ 6 Kms north of the coastal town of Menton and set among citrus trees and olive groves, this light, airy apartment enjoys a commanding position on the square of the picturesque perched village of Castellar. Two bedrooms (one double and one twin) can comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults. Being situated so close to Italy , there is easy access by road or motorway (the A8 is a 15 minute drive from the village) to the glamorous resorts of Monte Carlo, Villefranche, Nice, Ventimiglia, Bordighera and San Remo.
Apartment details
The apartment has been completely renovated and is pleasantly furnished with antiques and quality fittings. Apartment access is via stairs.
Bedroom 1 - double bed, antique furniture, small balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea
Bedroom 2 - twin beds, fitted oak wardrobe and shelves. Two large windows with moutain and sea views.
Bed linen and towels are provided
Sitting/dining room - dining table with 4 chairs, 2 seater- settee , occasional chairs, sideboard and traditional light fittings. Satellite TV. French windows open onto a balcony where you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Alps whilst listening to the fountains playing in the square.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, self-cleaning oven and 4 electric hobs.
Modern, tiled shower room.
There are electric radiators in each room which are regulated individually.
A washing machine is located in an alcove off the rear small balcony.
The apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 12 yrs or people with restricted mobility due to 2 flights of stairs leading to the apartment – one of which is quite steep.
Guests are requested to observe a no-smoking policy. Pets are not permitted in the apartment.
